aboutus

    So who is behind K9select?

Well that would be me: Martin Crisp, 42, married with 2 daughters and a complete dog lover. I live and work in rural Suffolk. I am mostly found mixing, blending, grinding, steeping, pouring and bottling. I have a love for everything natural and believe our children, as well as our pets, are a product of their environment. The happier and healthier their environment, the happy and healthier they will grow.

Why did you set up K9select what do you do?

I have seen animals that have suffered when traditional veterinary medicine hasn’t helped or worse, caused further health problems, go on to recover and thrive with just basic herbal treatments. Wanting to help animals and having experience with herbal treatments, I have seen the herbal pet industry grow hugely over the last 10 years and wanted to bring a range of easily accessible, good quality, chemical-free products to the public that simply work - no gimmicks or silly names that distract from the basic and founding principles of herbal and natural medicine that seem so often lost in marketing. It is a hugely rewarding and satisfying profession when you know you are making a difference and helping to relieve animals of their suffering.

We make all our products from scratch using high quality ingredients. We use only what is necessary for each product to achieve the required results. We manufacture our own range as well as manufacturing for other companies who successfully sell across Europe.

As herbal medicine develops continuously, so do we. Despite there being archaeological evidence of basic herbal use dating as far back as 60,000 years, with written evidence as long ago as 5000 years, even now new properties and benefits are being discovered. We like to keep at the forefront and so continuously develop new treatments and ways of applying those treatments.

There are almost limitless uses for medicinal herbs from the most basic herbs growing right now in your garden such as Chives This is one of the most common and easy-to-find herbs. Chives possess antibacterial properties, specifically those that can affect the gastrointestinal system. It can also lower cholesterol levels and plaque in the arteries. This lowers the risk of stroke and heart attacks.

Chives can also maintain mineral density in bones, improves eyesight, detoxify the body, boost the immune system and that’s just the tip of the iceberg in herbal healing!
